B&B Sunderland

Posted on: April 9, 2018

Hi, it’s Vikki here from Acorn Guesthouse – on my first attempt at a blog!

I have been the proud owner of the Acorn Guesthouse, B&B in Sunderland, for 5 years. Together with my husband Steve we moved back here, to his roots, and put everything in to this new business.

And we LOVE it!

B&B Sunderland – why we came here

B&B Sunderland, Family Room, Acorn Guesthouse

We weren’t initially looking for a B&B in Sunderland, but suddenly we found this amazing property which had the perfect amount of rooms not only for us to run as a business, but for it to be our home.

Steve was born and bred in Sunderland, and although he had moved away with work commitments, he always had that draw back to the area. His family remained here and well – you know what these North East men are like with their Mothers!

So there we have it.  My first blog and there will be more to come.  I’ll be letting you know what is going on in the area and what you really don’t want to miss!

You never know, I might even share some of my breakfast tips with you.
